2024 JRFD Fishing Derby – Fish Caught (Drawing)

Below is the list of the prize-winning fish prizes at the 2024 Jamestown Rural Fire Department Fishing Derby. Note due to the ice conditions we were not able to hold the actual fishing portion this year. All prizes were drawn via raffle tickets once ticket sales are closed or sold out. The three prizes for each species are drawn, with those tickets being returned after. So all raffle ticket purchasers are applicable to win one prize per species, with the tickets being placed back in for the raffle drawing.

2023 Fishing Tournament and Raffle Tickets

Tickets for the 2023 Jamestown Rural Fire Department & Knights of Columbus 15th Annual Ice Fishing Tournament and Raffle are now available for purchase! The tournament will be February 18th, 2023. Below you can find a list of locations where tickets can be purchased. We will update this post as more locations become available or if any new information needs to be communicated.

Tickets are $25.00 each.

Mail-in Ticket Orders

MAIL IN ORDERS ARE NO LONGER BEING ACCEPTED. Please visit one of the above locations for any remaining tickets.

You may also purchase a ticket by mailing a check to the Jamestown Rural Fire Department. Checks should be made out to the Knights of Columbus and addressed to the below address.

Due to ND gambling laws, mail in orders are only available to residents of the state of North Dakota. If you reside outside of the state we apologize for the inconvenience.

Please make sure to include the following items to ensure we can process your ticket order:
1. Your name and address.
2. A stamped, self-addressed envelope so we can mail your ticket back to you.
3. Your check or cash for the tickets.
4. A phone number we can use to contact you if there is an issue processing your order. This is also who we will contact you if you win a prize and are not present for the drawing.

Ticket orders that are missing any of the above items will be returned unfulfilled.

Ticket orders should be postmarked no later than January 1st, 2023. Ticket orders mailed after this date may not be filled.

Bids for snow removal (2022-2023)

We are seeking bids for snow removal at the JRFD building located at 1209 9th St SE for the upcoming winter (2022-2023). Bids will be opened at the Jamestown Rural Fire District meeting on September 22nd, 2022. Please mark on the outside of the envelop Snow Removal and mail bids to the Jamestown Rural Fire district. Bids must be mailed and delivered in sealed envelopes by the Post Office be end of day September 22, 2022, or they can be hand delivered in a sealed envelope.

April 2022 – Bids for JRFD UTV Skid

The Jamestown Rural Fire District is taking bids on a 90-gallon UTV skid unit with Flamefighter 12v electric pump and 300′ of hose.

See attached pdf for details and pictures of the unit.

Bids must be mailed for delivery by sealed envelope by the post office end of day on April 28th 2022. Bids will be opened at the District meeting on April 28th, 2022.
